My newest hobby
is doing stain glass. My first project that I made are two panels
for my new kitchen cabinets. I will be putting in more items as I
get them done. I found that I enjoy this new craft. It's quite
easy, especially having all the right supplies like a grinding machine.
Although I have only had a couple small cuts, I am sure to keep some Band
Aids on hand for emergencies :)
Please come back
and see what new things I've added to my page. Thanks for visiting.

This is the start
of my very first door |
 |
Foiling each piece
is time consuming as well as cutting each piece of glass. I didn't
need any Band Aids at this point yet LOL |

This is the finished
product before I put the black patina on to make it look antique.
The solder is still very shiny. |
 |
The finished product
installed with accent lighting behind. I think it looks very nice
with the red oak cabinets that my husband Don built. This kitchen
was a labor of love. |

This is the light
fixture that I made to correspond with my cabinet doors. |
Now for some projects
that I have made. The following pictures are of a window I was commission
to do for a friend. I had to come up with a design that I could incorporate
from one pane of glass to another. My friend did not want the usual
square/rectangle style pieces....this is what I came up with....and they
loved it.
Here is a picture
that I did for our son for his new home as a house warming gift.
The frame is made out of black walnut that my husband cut on his bandsaw.
It is beautiful wood and looks very nice with the glass.

Now you'll see some
sun catches that I have done for gifts and to sell at craft fairs.
Hope you enjoy seeing them.
I was commissioned
to do an eagle stain glass for my friend Abe in Tennessee. He really
enjoyed it. I do not have a completed picture of it myself, but I
have this picture of me working on it. Thanks Abe for this order
:)
